Impress Your Friends with Text Selection CSS Coding!
I love subtle codes. I like making web pages interesting, clean and simple with codes that really make a web page different than the rest without being too obnoxious and obtrusive. Marquee's have always been a target of ways to make a web page look bad with crazy text going every which way. In my opinion, marquees if used tastefully can be useful code. But that is neither here nor there.

This code I am about to show you is really cool, and subtle! You can really impress your geeky friends with this one too. So here is an example.

Go ahead and select this text here. Yes, right here, double click it to select or take your mouse and just select all this text here. What color do you see? Yep, Pink!

If you selected the text above, you just saw some nifty CSS code change the text selection from the standard navy blue highlight to pink! Pretty cool huh? I told you it was a subtle change. Here is how you do it, very easy code too.

Add this to your CSS { } codes to make all text selected on your page one color:

You can also target specific modules and change their colors if you want, like this:

This text selection code currently is supported by Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari and Opera. If you didn't see the text selection example change colors above, it means you are using Internet Explorer which currently doesn't support it. IE usage has gone down in the past year or so, but still around half of web users still use IE. Hopefully IE will begin to support CSS3 coding in the near future, but for now all other modern browsers should.
