The myspace profile editor which is now called Profile Themes is an online tool that myspace provides it's users to make changes to their layout with very little or no knowledge of HTML & CSS. It's a great tool but if you are looking to make your page more robust I suggest you use copy & paste codes from help sites. The profile editor is compatible with copy & paste codes however depending on what you do the editor and your copy & paste codes may conflict with each other so its better to choose one or the other.
To open the editor, click here and on the top right click Profile Editor. The editor opens in the same window as your myspace page.

The first tab on the left is the Theme Library. This is how you choose your layout/background. There are many different categories underneath.
After choosing a theme click Edit Theme on the top right tab. Here you can edit the theme background, modules, images, text and links

After you are done making your changes you click save & publish and then it asks you to confirm by asking you to save & publish again. If at any point you want to remove (clear) your profile editor code go under Theme Library and click CLEAR ALL. Save & publish twice
